In this Facebook application Mount Franklin users could match the celebrity ambassador with their headpiece design, going into the draw to win tickets to the races and were also given the chance to purchase one of the exclusive headpieces. A fun April Fool’s Day Facebook application that helped e-Harmony communicate their point of difference in the competitive online dating market. Users were encouraged to complete a questionnaire to find their perfect match - in the form of an RSPCA pet and find out a little more about them.

The Parklife Planner allowed users to create and edit a personalised lineup list for the complete list of artists. When performance times became available users could then also view these to get a better idea of their schedule for the day.

To promote the launch of the new Mother Lemon Twist, Mother challenged the Fully Sick Rapper to break the world record for the world’s longest continuous rap. To facilitate this, a Facebook application was created where fans could send through rapping rymes, lyrics, and shout-outs and also watch the live event on the Mother Facebook page. The record was indeed broken at over 10 minutes.

To help generate online awareness of the IKEA Soft Toys for Education campaign, a fun, interactive Facebook application was created allowing users to create a custom e-card, featuring their favourite Ikea toy, and share this message on friends’ Facebook walls to spread some Chritsmas cheer.

This successful social media campaign allowed Facebook user ‘Likes’ to dictate the selling price of a new Toyota FJ Cruiser. The more ‘likes’, the lower the price. Users were encouraged to the spread the word via Facebook and Twitter, with one lucky winner going into the draw to purchase the car at this final reduced social price.

To create online buzz around the new Ikea Tempe store opening a Facebook application was created to allow users to enter a photo or video - showing how they are ‘Ikea’s Biggest Fan’. The winner gets a 3-minute shopping spree around the new store and access to the VIP area at the store opening.

As part of the new ‘Billabong Jeans’ website launch, the ‘Pick-up Line’ promotional campaign was also launched encouraging Facebook users to send a pick-up line to a fellow Facebook user. If the recipient accepted the pickup line a match was made and the new couple were in the draw to win a trip to LA. Winners were judged on the best pick-up line.
